Year end hurraahhhh!!!

Hellooooo!!!! Christmas is just around the corner. I can't believe that we are in the final stretch of 2023. It feels only yesterday when I started 2023 with a renewed sense of self.

2022 was a year when I just decided to take a time off from my corporate life as an HR professional. 2023 was a year of reinventing myself, I took odd jobs, rekindled old passions like writing (which I am very sorry since I have not been utilizing my online presence of late!), explore other industries which I have not tried like real estate and insurance, I learned the ropes of editing videos, and of course I spent a good deal of time at the gym (there will be a point in your life where you just want to be able to walk a flight of stairs without having to take a break every 10 steps!) It is tiring! Hahaha! 2022 was a time of reflection, if you have read my Bantayan blog then you will know what I mean.

My 2023 journey is definitely not for everyone, not a lot of people are brave enough to jump to unknown waters, hence here I am still figuring how and where to paddle! Though I have great exposure to the corporate scene and I am completely aware of what I can do, it is still very different when you do things on your own. You don't wait for a payday, you create your pay which will only happen if you step out and market yourself, and building your pipeline is tough when you are an introvert like me! (Introvert ako, mukha lang hindi!)

To simplify... No matter how good you are with what you do in corporate...starting from scratch is not a piece of cake. It is different when you observe a business, and when you are a player in it.

I am testing the waters now and learning as much as I can, so I know I will be ending 2023 with better results. I am not the type that will fold in battle specially if I know I have what it takes. Hehe. 2023 hasn't ended yet, big things are coming.
